College Ball

Last week, we held the College Ball in Bunbury, and the weather for everyone’s arrival could not have been better, with sunshine and a gentle breeze. We had an amazing array of transport, ranging from vintage motor vehicles to prime movers and even a tractor.

The evening was a great success. Students were exceptionally well behaved, although they probably did not dance as much as students have in recent years. The buffet dinner was wonderful, and many students returned for seconds.

The entire venue looked amazing, with the table settings and decorations once again proving superb. A sincere thank you to Mrs Fimmano and Mrs Hickman, who take on this role every year and never cease to amaze us with their creativity, dedication, and attention to detail.

The professional photographs from the evening will be available shortly. In the meantime, please enjoy these snapshots taken throughout the night.

Congratulations to the Belle and Beau, Georgie Ward and Will Francis.

Students also had the opportunity to have some fun in the photo booth. A big thank you to Tracy from King Image Photobooths for coming along and adding to the fun of the night.

What's Happened this Week

Monday saw a mixed bag of sporting results. While all netball fixtures were cancelled, our hockey students travelled to Collie and came away with a couple of wins, which was a fantastic result.

This weekend, we had planned an ice-skating excursion. However, due to sporting commitments and other competing activities, very few students were able to attend, and we have once again had to postpone the excursion.

This is unfortunate, as staff invest significant time and effort in organising excursions and completing paperwork, which can be quite time-consuming.

Congratulations to our Newly Qualified Chef

As of Thursday, our apprentice Chef, Catherine Staszewski, has successfully completed her apprenticeship and is now a qualified Chef.

Congratulations, Catherine. This qualification is well deserved, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her on our staff. Great job!
