Year 12
As we enter Term 3, our Year 12 students will begin to feel the pressure of completing courses, meeting assessment deadlines, and managing the emotions that come with the transition from high school to the next phase of their lives.
This may leave some students feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about their next steps, and that is completely normal.
We offer a range of support services, from our dedicated Student Services team to our teachers, trainers, and residential supervisors, all here to help.
If your child is feeling unsettled or uncertain, please encourage them to speak with a staff member.
Students need to remain focused over the next few months and continue doing their best in every area of their learning.
Attendance can significantly affect student achievement and work completion at this time of year, and I strongly encourage students to avoid absences wherever possible to give themselves the best chance of success.
I have already met with some Year 12 students and will continue to check in with each student over the coming weeks to discuss their WACE progress and support them in focusing on WACE attainment as we approach the end of Year 12.
If you have any queries, please contact me at the College.
