This week in reading, we focused on reading with expression! We did this through Readers Theatre. Students broke into 3 groups to perform 3 plays: 'Little Red Riding Hood', 'The Gingerbread Man' and 'The 3 Little Pigs'. We performed our plays for the kinder kids on Thursday - it was so much fun!

After performing, we wrote a recount of what we did, using key words from the board.

Important reminders: 

• Homework readers MUST be returned on Fridays 

• It is now that time of year when you must wear hats during outside play. Please ensure your child has a hat packed in their bag.  Also remember to write your child's name on their hat too!

• Milo Monkey's birthday is next Thursday. Please remember to bring a plate of food to help us celebrate!
