DIVISION ATHLETICS TEAM 2026
Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in District Athletics. Everyone displayed the attribute of good sports by listening to adults and each other, competing to the best of their ability and performing with fairness and a good attitude whether they won or not.
Ten of our students have progressed to the next level, Division Athletics on October 13th. This is an admirable achievement, particularly as there were up to 24 students competing in each event. A big congratulations to the following students.

OUR PREPS LOVE PE
In PE this week, our Preps enjoyed the House Captains running the show! They had set up running stations, playing octopus and finished up with a modified volleyball game.
🏺 Air-Dry Clay Creations! 🎨
Our whole school has just completed an exciting Air-Dry Clay unit, and we have been so impressed by the creativity, problem-solving and persistence shown by our students!
🌟 Prep students were introduced to the properties of air-dry clay as they explored shaping, joining and creating their very own shape magnets.
🌟 Years 1–2 experimented with the pinch pot technique, learning how to transform a simple ball of clay into a functional vessel.
🌟 Years 3–4 were challenged to create something that could become a keyring. With only a small amount of clay to work with, students had to think carefully and creatively about their designs and details.
🌟 Years 5–6 were challenged to create something functional. We saw an amazing variety of ideas, including candle holders, magnets, puzzles, dishes, Pokémon card holders and so much more!
It has been wonderful to see students develop their clay skills while experimenting, problem-solving and bringing their own ideas to life. 👐✨

5/6 DEBATES
Out 5/6 students have been researching, drafting and presenting debates over the last few weeks. It has been great seeing the students collaborate and present with enthusiasm, showing great pride for the hard work they've put in.
SCIENCEWORKS
Our Scienceworks excursion was an exciting opportunity to apply our learning about push and pull forces. Students explored how objects move, investigating how the strength and direction of a force can change an object’s speed or movement. It was wonderful to see everyone learning through hands-on activities, asking thoughtful questions and making connections to our classroom learning!
