TT07 Everyday Textiles
Students in Everyday Textiles started the semester by designing and planning the production for an “Ugly Doll”. The students had to come up with their own idea, making sure they used scrap fabric to produce the doll, to incorporate the idea of sustainability into their item.
Here are just some of the strange creations the students came up with.
SRC - Student Representative Council
All students (from all year levels) who are interested in joining the SRC are invited to come to a meeting in the library at lunchtime fortnightly on Tuesdays (28/4, 12/5, 26/5, 9/6 & 23/6).
This is your opportunity to be involved in organising activities and events for the students and to provide student voice and agency within our school. See Mrs Redmond if you have any questions.

AT03 Steps To Ceramics
The Steps to Ceramics class created a series of pots inspired by water. Some created a pot inspired by the sea; others the river and some students focused on sea or water creatures. All students were required to create three different pots, one pot being a pinch pot, the second pot being a coil pot and the third pot was a pot of choice. All three pots needed to tie in with the theme of water, this could be done with colour or pattern. Some students created the same animal, such as a turtle on all three objects.
Cooking For Two
Anzac biscuits are always a favourite and were the perfect choice for baking this week. Students enjoyed the relatively straightforward process of making Anzac biscuits and they sure smelled delicious when they came out of the ovens.
