Sport and PE at SJV

District Athletics

Congratulations to all of our students who represented SJV so proudly at the Mordialloc District Athletics Day. It was fantastic to see such effort, enthusiasm, and sportspersonship on display throughout the carnival.

A special mention goes to our outstanding performers: 

Xavier S - 1st in the 9/10 Boys 1500m and 2nd in the 800m

Scout K - 2nd in the 9/10 Girls Triple Jump

Joaquin O -1st in the Multi Class Shot Put, 200m, and 800m

Jacob M - 3rd in the 9/10 Boys 200m) 

The relay team of Flynn D, Lenny H, Jacob M, and Xavier S - 2nd in the 9/10 Boys Relay

These students will now progress to the Kingston Division Athletics Day on October 9th. We wish them the very best as they continue to showcase their talent and determination!

3/4 Hoop Time

A reminder to all grade 3 and 4 families that Hoop Time is next week (Wednesday 10th, September). Please ensure that all students are at school by 8:45am as we need to leave promptly to be at the venue in time for our first game. Students will need to be dressed in their basketball top and school sports shorts. Further details are on nForma. 

Run Club

All grade 3-6 students are invited to join the Run Club on Friday mornings. We meet at Walter Galt Reserve 8:15 AM, and students will be escorted to school once finished. 

Interschool Sport Uniforms

A reminder to all Grade 4–6 families to please return any uniforms loaned for Interschool Sport. We kindly ask that all uniforms are washed and returned promptly, as they will be needed for upcoming events.
