On August 1st, the S.P.P.S softball team played against the Belvedere softball team. Though we played our best , we ended up losing. The scores were 13 to 22. Belvedere will now continue to the next Division. 

And starting on the 8th of August, the Tee-ball, Netball, and AFL-9s teams will play matches against neighbouring schools every Friday until we have played all the schools in our district. These matches will be practice for the Lightning Premiership where all the district's teams will face off in a big competition against each other at Mahogany Rise Primary School.

From the 11th of August and onwards every day we’ll be handing out sports equipment to anyone who wants to use them. Please remember to sign out and sign in the equipment at the start and end of recess and lunch.

Responsible use of equipment is : 

Using the equipment safely.

Using the equipment for the sport and or activities they’re made for. 

Using the equipment and keeping it intact.

Library Leaders - Book Report

At Book Week we had a thrilling time in all our costumes and group outfits. Before the parade began, we announced the Book Week book winners. The winning books that our school voted for were Digger Digs Down, The Truck Cat and Tooth Fairy. The CBCA children's shortlisted books were Always Was and Always Will Be, The Truck Cat, The Wobbly Bike and Laughter is the Best Ending. At the Book Week parade, the teachers dressed up as alpacas from Macca the Alpaca.
