NSWPSSA Cross Country Championships

A special mention to Arabella who won was part of the MacKillop girls 8/9 years who placed first in the teams competition. It was the first time in history that a MacKillop team who won the PSSA team event were all from Sydney Catholic Schools.

NETBALL - SYDNEY NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Wednesday, 30th of July our Senior Girls Netball team competed at the Sydney Netball Championships Final at Netball Central, Homebush. As we were the Interconference 3/4 champions, we played against St Andrews, Malabar who were the Interconference 1/2 champions.

It was a competitive, hard fought game right from the first whistle. The game was played on the showcourt in front of parents, crowds of supporters including some of our Year 5 and 6 students, OLF student supporters and a livestream audience cheering them on. The girls rose to the occasion, were very determined and spirited in their performance and were right in the contest until the final whistle. The full time score was 13-8. It was a fantastic achievement to make it to the final and the girls should be extremely proud of their performance and efforts!

A big congratulations to our captain Alexis, who was awarded the Players award for OLF as recognised by the opposition.

Congratulations girls - we are so proud of you!
