Building Works Update
The Asset Management Plan (AMP) Phase 1 stage has been endorsed and we are now commencing the AMP Phase 2. This is the planning phase of the capital works announcement.
The architect engagement process and the establishment of the Project Control Group has commenced. This stage also determines the project scope based on: the improvement areas identified; the school's condition report; area allocation and the project budget.
We will be working closely with the VSBA Project Delivery Officer and the architect to identify the opportunities and challenges in modernising and restoring the heritage building and the Multipurpose Hall and adjacent spaces, exploring innovative solutions to unify student movement across the campus including the provision for modern indoor outdoor learning spaces. Flexible spaces and community use are key elements to be considered in the design process.

Our School Values, 'The 6 R's' provide a very supportive lens for our students to think through when they are challenged by choices they know could have been better.
The natural tensions that occur in the playground are never preconceived or intended. They happen in the moment.
Children have two time zones: Now and Not Now.
By walking beside them and seeking clarity we find the children themselves can very accurately describe what might have been 'a better choice'.
Reflection is one of the first 'go to' values that we use in the process of metaphorically holding a mirror up to the situation to gain perspective, without naming, blaming or shaming. It is all about the learning - as part of a social process, as part of being in a community. A community of leaners.
Reflection helps children to build self awareness and to recognise strengths.

To understand what others are feeling by using empathy
