Dear Families,

What a wonderful two weeks we've had at St Peter's OSHC! The children have been busy creating, building, reading, and exploring through a variety of child-led and planned experiences. Thank you for your continued support.

Book Week Highlights.

Book Week brought lots of excitement to our service! Children enjoyed spending time in our cozy reading corner, sharing stories with friends, and preparing for the Book Week Parade. We loved seeing their enthusiasm for books and imaginative storytelling.

Science Week Fun.

Our young scientists explored hands-on STEM experiences through building, problem-solving,and creative thinking. Children worked together to test ideas, construct imaginative designs,and discover how teamwork helps solve challenges. Science Week encouraged curiosity,investigation, and lots of wonderful questions!

LEGO Engineering Challenge.

The LEGO area was one of our busiest spaces this fortnight. Hema and Cindy collaborated to build an impressive multi-level LEGO mansion, while other children designed houses, rooms,and creative structures. These experiences strengthened communication, teamwork, and engineering skills.

Creative Arts.

Our artists stayed very busy creating beautiful masterpieces, including: Father's Day pop stick family keepsakes,mini piñata crafts, toilet roll paper flowers, Colour-by-number artwork, Crochet creations and decorative accessories. Every child added their own unique creative touch!

Looking Ahead.

We're excited for more literacy, STEM, and creative experiences as we continue celebratingchildren's interests through child-led learning.

Holiday Program Update.

Farahana will be working at Clarinda Primary School OSHC on Monday and Tuesday during the holiday program. The children will still enjoy a fun range of planned activities, games,creative experiences and child-led play throughout the day.
