Our Faith Journey

Welcome to our RE community -where faith is shared, lived, and celebrated together.

Gospel Reading

Matthew 16:21–27

Jesus began to tell his friends that following God would not always be easy. He told them that he would suffer, die and then rise again.

Think about:

  1. What does Jesus ask us to do when we follow Him?
  2. When might it be difficult to make a kind or loving choice?
  3. How can we show Jesus that we love and care for others?

A sincere thank you to our Grade 3–4 parents, carers and volunteers for joining us at Parish Mass and generously assisting with morning tea. Your support helped strengthen our Parish–School connection and provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to participate in a welcoming, faith-filled community. We are grateful for your continued support of our students and their faith journey.

Warm wishes to all our Malayali families celebrating Onam!

Onam is a celebration of joy, gratitude, generosity, family and community—values that connect beautifully with our Catholic call to love, welcome and care for one another.

As Jesus reminds us, “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 15:12)

May this special celebration strengthen our sense of belonging, diversity and community at St Peter’s.

Onam Ashamsakal!

A special thank you to Sister Olga for her many years of volunteering at St Peter’s, supporting students through small-group sessions and generously sharing her faith and guidance.

Showcasing our Foundation students engaging in Scripture

Our Foundation students unpacking the Gospel with our Assistant Parish Priest provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen the connection between our Parish and School community. It creates a safe and welcoming environment where our students can ask questions, explore their faith and clarify their thoughts or doubts. These conversations help  our students develop a deeper understanding of Scripture and see how the Gospel connects to their everyday lives. Thank you Fr Deva for taking on some challenging questions.
