Discovery Centre Visit

Students enjoyed an exciting visit from the Discovery Centre Bendigo on May 18th, where they participated in a fun and hands-on marble run session. The activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving and collaboration as students designed and tested their own marble runs. The challenge set was to try to build a marble run which took the longest for the marble to travel along.
These incursions are provided free of charge and offer a fantastic way for students to engage with important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) concepts in an interactive and meaningful way.
It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, curiosity and teamwork throughout the session. A big thank you to Tara for facilitating this engaging experience for our students. She also treated us to her singing and guitar playing over our recess break!
