MOAMA PRESCHOOL 

This week, five Learning Leaders, Maddie Pettigrove and Mrs Liz Chapman visited Moama Preschool. Aisha, Clem, Emily, Lakyn, and Byron represented our school with pride as they built connections within our local community. The visit provided an opportunity for learners to strengthen the kinder children’s sense of belonging, especially for the Foundation students who will be joining St Mary’s in 2027. 

The Learning Leaders engaged with the children through conversations, eagerly sharing ideas, learning experiences, and play environments. This not only boosted the confidence of our Learning Leaders but also supported the overall wellbeing of all participants. We are looking forward to returning to Moama Preschool soon to participate in some craft activities. We appreciate Narelle, Julie, and all of the educators for their warm welcome. 

SCHOOL TV 

School TV is a digital platform we use at SME to keep our families and staff informed and updated on all things wellbeing. Below is a direct link to our site, which allows you to access a wide range of topics backed by current research and professional advice. 

Our feature topic this fortnight is Respectful Relationships. If you click on the Respectful Relationships section, you will find the “Additional Assets” section on the right-hand side, which contains some excellent resources for further support.
