Student-Led Learning Conversations - Book Now via PAM
As part of our commitment to student voice and ownership of learning, we are offering 10-minute Student-Led Learning Conversations between students and their teacher on Thursday, 30th July. This is a valuable opportunity for your child to share their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and set future goals in a one-on-one conversation with their teacher and family present.
Bookings are essential and can now be made via PAM.
Please note that these conversations are led by students and are distinct from parent-teacher interviews. We encourage all families to support their child by booking a time.
For guidance on how to book, please read the attached document.
NAPLAN Results Released
This week your child received their 2026 NAPLAN Individual Student Report.
Firstly, we would like to congratulate all of our Year 3 and Year 5 students on the positive way they approached this year's NAPLAN assessments. We are proud of the effort, perseverance and resilience they demonstrated throughout the testing period.
Below is the information sheet, "2026 NAPLAN Individual Student Report - Information for Parents and Carers," which explains how to read and interpret your child's report.
NAPLAN is one assessment that provides a snapshot of your child's learning at a particular point in time. At St Peter's, we use NAPLAN alongside classroom assessments, teacher observations and ongoing learning evidence to build a comprehensive understanding of each student's progress and to inform future teaching and learning.
As you read through the report, we encourage you to have a positive and supportive conversation with your child. The language we use as adults can have a powerful impact on children's confidence and attitude towards learning. Recognising effort, encouraging perseverance and focusing on growth helps children develop the confidence to embrace challenges and continue striving to do their best.
If you have any questions after reviewing your child's report, please don't hesitate to contact your child's classroom teacher.
