VCE VM Careers Incursion: Virtual Reality

From our students :

On Tuesday the 21st of July, the Year 12 VCE VM students had the VIC VICE people come to our school to show the students the virtual reality experience of working in certain fields such as carpentry, building and construction, farming and many more. It was cool learning in a virtual reality world. It was a unique and educational experience and gave us a real look into what some of these jobs would be like. Ryan

On Tuesday, our school had an exciting incursion when Vic Vice came to visit us. They brought incredible virtual reality headsets for everyone to try out. As soon as we put the headsets on, it felt like we stepped into a whole new world. Through the VR screens, we explored what our future jobs could look like. We got to see amazing workplaces and learn about different careers in a fun, interactive way. It was a really cool experience that made everyone excited about what we can do when we grow up. On Tuesday we had the VIC VICE virtual reality incursion. The incursion was all about getting to have a virtual reality experience whilst learning about future potential career paths. It was a very engaging and a unique experience and opportunity for getting to learn about certain sectors like agriculture, metal fabrication, health and carpentry. I would recommend it as it was a very interactive and interesting experience. Connor

Exploring various career paths through virtual reality was an engaging experience. Although the headset caused some minor eye strain, the immersive perspective—allowing me to observe different professions as if I were actually there—was incredibly valuable. Shetayah
