Wrap around Headspace workshops for students, staff & families.
Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. Each year, Headspace helps thousands of young people access vital support through Headspace services in communities across Australia, online and phone counselling services, vocational services, and a presence in schools.
Headspace will be visiting St Mary’s College on 11th & 12th August to deliver workshops to students in years 6 – 12. Headspace with support of BeYou, will be providing an engaging session for staff after school. There will also be an evening session for parents & carers in collaboration with Seymour College on Wednesday 12th August.

The session will cover;
. Mental health and wellbeing in adolescence
· How to have conversations with young people about their mental health & wellbeing
· Strategies for parents and carers about how to support their young person
· Where you and your young person can go for support
{Please note: This parent/carer session is not suitable for young people to attend.}
This ‘wraparound’ approach provides students, staff & families with consistent, tailored information & strategies to support young people’s mental wellbeing.
