Junior Schools Cup: Character in Action

The Junior Schools Cup showcased our program at its finest, with students demonstrating unwavering commitment to EVP values throughout the weekend. Our Honours division athletes competed with resilience and respect, while Year 7s embraced challenges, responded to feedback, and bravely stepped up to compete in Year 8 divisions. Teams with combined year levels formed strong friendships, demonstrating beautiful inclusivity across the program.

We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful families who ensure our students have the opportunity to compete. The growth opportunities available through Queensland Schools Cup participation are genuinely difficult to recreate elsewhere, and the impact we're able to have on students would not be possible without the support they receive at home. Considering how our athletes demonstrated their character throughout the weekend, we cannot imagine a more successful event.

Adelaide Excursion: World Championships Experience

Twenty-four EVP students are preparing for an exceptional opportunity, volunteering as court officials during the pool play phase of the Beach Volleyball World Championships in Adelaide. This experience will provide our athletes with unparalleled access to watch the world's best beach volleyball players compete and the chance to meet these elite athletes. This excursion represents our commitment to exposing our students to the highest levels of the sport and providing experiences that extend well beyond regular competition.

Senior Leadership Excellence

Our Year 10 and 11 athletes demonstrated remarkable leadership at the Junior Schools Cup, coaching our junior teams with maturity, skill, and kindness well beyond their years. Their wholehearted and selfless investment in their coaching roles and the development of our younger athletes reflected the exceptional individuals being developed within our program. These emerging leaders are flourishing, and their commitment to giving back ensures the continued strength and culture of the EVP for years to come.
