Hello and welcome to this edition of our school newsletter.

 

Last week, we had an amazing time celebrating the excellence and achievements of our senior students. It was a beautiful evening and one of my favourite times of the year, when we get to recognise the incredible things our young people are capable of achieving.

 

Coming up, we will be holding our Junior Awards Ceremony, so stay tuned to hear about your children’s achievements in that area. Please remind your young people to visit the Administration Building to check their names on the subject awards lists in the coming weeks, so they know if they are eligible to walk across the stage that evening.

 

I would also like to remind everyone about our plans for the end of this year. As mentioned previously, Week 8 of Term 4 will be our final week of teaching, learning, and assessment. All formal teaching and assessment of the curriculum will be finalised by the end of that week.

 

During Week 9, our teachers will be marking and preparing student reports. More importantly for families, this is the week of our reward activities, including Water World, the Year 9 Boat Cruise, and a range of fun and engaging events. Please look out for information from your child’s Head of Year to stay informed about what’s happening for your young person during that week.

 

Week 10 will be our Enhancement Week, where students can sign up for various activities and short courses such as climbing, study skills, and other enrichment opportunities to help them prepare for the next school year. More information about these activities will be shared soon.
