Principal's Report

It is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching the middle of November, with only three weeks left of the school year.  Our Year 12 VCE students have been and continue to be busy with exams.  Year 9 students have finished their exams and the Year 10 & 11 students are in the middle of their exam period.  We trust students have been working hard, preparing, and getting the results that are indicative of their efforts throughout the year.

After exams, the school moves into learning for 2026 with our Year 10 students commencing Year 11 studies and our Year 11 students commencing the Faststart Year 12 studies program for two weeks from Monday 24 November.  As a staff, we are also very busy not only correcting exams, but also working on staffing for 2026.  As a Community, we are blessed to have a great staff with a fantastic blend of new and old staff.  We are currently close to filling all teaching positions for 2026.  Our staff is such that people do not want to leave, so we do not have many positions to fill, just a few as we grow in student numbers again next year.  The staff we have recruited will further enrich our Community.

As we journey through this month of November, we are invited to remember and pray for those who have gone before us.  We remember and pray for all our past Nazarenes, both staff and students who have died.  We give thanks for their contribution to our community, for the gift of their presence and we pray that the souls of all Nazarenes who have gone before rest peacefully in the Father’s house.
