University of Melbourne Goulburn Valley Tertiary Information Day
The University of Melbourne’s Dookie and Shepparton campuses will open as part of the Goulburn Valley Tertiary Information Day on Sunday 10 August 2025.
The School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences Dookie campus, welcomes visitors from 10am to 1pm to explore:
Melbourne Medical School’s Department of Rural Health campus in Shepparton welcomes visitors from 11am to 4pm, offering:
La Trobe and GOTAFE’s Shepparton campuses will also be hosting events on the same day, showcasing a wide range of educational pathways available across the Goulburn Valley.
Shuttle buses will run every hour between the Fryers and Graham Street campuses and language support will be available in Dari, Swahili and Arabic.

UniMelb Open Day - FREE buses
FREE BUSES will be running from the Goulburn Valley for students and family members to the UniMelb Open Day at the Parkville and Southbank campuses on Sunday 17 August.
Pick up and drop off will be at Cobram, Kyabram, Shepparton and Seymour. Buses will depart from 6:30am/7am and return at approximately 7pm.
Everyone intending to take the bus must reserve a bus ticket; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bookings can be made via the link below:
UniMelb Open Day 2025!
From biomechanics to biology, Plato to 3D printing, Open Day is where curiosity meets hands-on discovery.
Tour labs, learning spaces and accommodation, get stuck into creative workshops, quiz our lecturers and explore everything from ancient artefacts to AI - this is your chance to experience what it's really like to study, live and thrive at Melbourne.

La Trobe Aspire Early Offer Program
What’s the Aspire Early Offer Program?
At La Trobe, there’s more than one way into uni. The Aspire Early Offer Program gives students the option to secure an early conditional offer to La Trobe before finishing Year 12. With Aspire, you’ll have the option to gain an offer into a wide range of course options across our campuses. No matter if you’re studying in Melbourne, regionally in Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton, or online – Aspire can set you up with an early offer into your dream course at uni.
Aspire streams
Aspire has three streams to choose from, so if you've given back to your community, did well in Year 11, or have a strong drive to make a future impact, then you can secure a spot in your dream course before finishing Year 12.
Aspire applications for all three streams close at 11:59pm on Friday 5 September (so you do have plenty of time to apply before VTAC opens on 28 July in Term 3).

The Defence Work Experience Program provides young Australians with an interest in a Defence career, the opportunity to gain exposure to a range of job roles available within the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Australian Public Service (APS).
