State Cross Country Championships
A huge congratulations to our dedicated and talented students who represented our school at the State Cross Country Championships last Thursday. It was a fantastic achievement to reach this level of competition, and each student should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
Competing against the best runners from across Victoria, our students tackled the course with determination, resilience, and great sportsmanship. The event brought together athletes from a range of schools and showcased the incredible standard of endurance running at the state level.
One standout achievement from this year’s event comes from ALLY BROOKS – YEAR 12 (EVERARD), who has proudly represented our school at the State Cross Country Championships every year from Year 7 through to Year 12. This is an incredible feat that reflects not only exceptional talent but also remarkable consistency, dedication, and perseverance over six years. Ally has been a role model for younger athletes, showing what can be achieved through hard work and a passion for distance running. Her final state appearance as a Year 12 student was a fitting culmination to an outstanding school cross country journey. Ally added to her medal collection with a BRONZE in 2025.
We are incredibly proud of every student’s achievements and the way they represented our school. A big thank you to families for supporting the athletes on the day and throughout the year.
Well done to all involved – your hard work and dedication truly paid off!
