Sheep
Sheep are being supplementary fed as needed, with lambing just around the corner. Preparations are well underway, including pre‑drenching crossbred lambs and administering annual health boosters to ewes to ensure a smooth start to the season.
Horticulture
Harvesting is still going strong in the veggie patch, with plenty of produce coming through. There has also been a focus on entries for the upcoming Harvey Show, with students preparing the College produce.

Dairy
It’s a busy time in the dairy, with staff working hard on cattle clipping ahead of the Autumn Fair in a couple of weeks, on top of their usual day-to-day jobs. A great effort from the team, juggling everything so well.
Equine
Students are returning their paperwork in preparation for bringing their horses to the College and are completing riding assessments so they can take part in after-school riding. It’s great to see increased involvement in the Equine area.
Pigs
The pigs are coming along nicely, now averaging 60.7 kg. With cooler weather setting in, growth rates might slow slightly, but things are still tracking well overall.
Poultry
The outdoor chook area is getting a bit of an upgrade, with edible plants, shade trees, and vines being added. This will give the chickens more to forage on and provide better shelter, creating a healthier and happier space.
