Gr 6 LaTrobe University Excursion

On December 4th the Grade 6 classes went to the La Trobe Bendigo Tech School, to check out their Robotic Transition Day. While our students were there they had the opportunity to check out an AMAZING sustainable garden! It has the capacity to plant seeds, check its own water levels and needs, and then water itself. The garden can also identify weeds from plants and then pull out the weeds...wow! Along with all these amazing features, it can recognise if the plants and soil need fertilising and administer the correct levels required. They also had a weather station to support the garden mechanisms work. The students' and teacher were all blown away with this innovation! Perhaps our gardens of the future...??🌳🌻🥕

Green Magpies Christmas Break Up

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you to our parents who provided wonderful party food, most of it Christmas themed, for our 2023 break up. The students had a wonderful time as we discussed our 2024 plans & dreams whilst feasting on yummy treats! Thank-you!
