Year 10 Indonesian Trip

Today our Year 10 Indonesian group returned from an action packed 12 days in Indonesia. A sleepy Assistant Principal and an active Anak Karakatoa couldn’t put a dampener on this trip! 

With 2 days in Bali, students visited Pura Uluwatu in the south, home to a beautiful Balinese temple and many monyet and experienced the hustle and bustle of Kuta-Legian !

Flying on Surabaya in East Java, the Oberon group met Rifa, Setyo and Harry and started the Yogyakarta experience. Cultural activities, historical UNESCO protected temples, language activities in the markets and streets, visiting our sister school and sampling the wonderful foods and drinks of Indonesia filled the next 10 days.

A huge thank you to Bu Pritchett, Pak Jake and Bu Shaw for guiding our students on an amazing opportunity to engage on some many levels with our nearest neighbours. Enjoy your well deserved break and look forward to the stories in Term 4.

GERMAN

German Sister School visit 

During the holidays 16 students and 3 teachers from our sister schools near Marburg will arrive for 4 weeks. The group comes from both the Georg Buechner Schule and the Gesamtschule Ebsdorfergrund.

The Oberon students and hosting families are super excited about the visit.

Students are arriving on Saturday 26th September and will depart on Saturday 24 October.

Day One of Term 4, the 16 German students will attend school wearing a school uniform for the first time!  Day two will see them head down the Great Ocean Road for their 4-day road trip.
