District Athletics Carnival

Approximately 40 students represented themselves and our school last Friday at Duncan McKinnon in the District Athletics Carnival. All students are to be congratulated on their excellent sportsmanship, positive attitude and determination to do their best throughout the day.

Students who finished in 1st or 2nd place in their events will now progress to the Division Athletics Carnival on October 8. We wish them the very best of luck as they prepare for the next level of competition. Students attending the Division Carnival will receive further information via Compass.

A big thank you to Mr Higgins, Indu and student teacher Esteban for their assistance and support throughout the day.

It was also fantastic to see some of our senior students demonstrating great leadership by assisting with the running of various field events when they were not competing.

A fantastic day all round, and congratulations to everyone involved!
