What happens at a Catholic School?

Prayer
We begin every day with prayer. We know that teachers and students can come from a variety of faith backgrounds and so, students are invited into prayer in the classroom at the beginning of the school day.
We also gather for prayer on special days of year e.g. Saint's feast days, ANZAC Day, Mother's Day, Sorry Day and other days of significance.
Each classroom has a prayer space, often taking the form of a prayer table. The Community team of teachers set the scene, as to how prayer happens, as a whole community as well as classroom prayer. Both formal and informal prayers will be part of the daily morning routine across the year.
Mass
Learning Communities go to Mass in the Church once a term. These Masses occur on a Wednesday at 9:30am unless otherwise stated in the newsletter. Parents and friends are always to join us to celebrate Mass. The Church is located next door to the school.
Special sacramental celebrations will happen for some year levels with the parish on weekends. All families are welcome to attend and support classmates who may be making a Sacrament
