2026 Class Books and Resources

Parents and carers are asked to ensure their child has the required textbooks and equipment at the start of the year. Please refer to the book list that was sent out previously if your textbook has not already been ordered. This will ensure a smooth start and allow all students to make the most of their learning opportunities. Due to copyright restrictions, staff are not permitted to photocopy textbooks for students who have not organised their books.

We also ask parents to ensure students have a suitable BYOD computer with access to the required Microsoft programs (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, etc). Their device will also need to have adequate battery life, as students are not permitted to charge their computers during classes. Information regarding these requirements has been sent home, but if you have any further questions, please contact the College.

Staff Changes

I would like to take this opportunity to formally recognise the significant contributions that Louisa Sgambelluri and Kay Williams have made to the College. Both have been with us this year in fixed-term English teaching roles. I thank them for their dedication and hard work, and I hope they have enjoyed their time at the College and look back on it with fond memories. I wish them all the very best as they move on to new endeavours.

With teacher shortages across the state, I am pleased to say that our class staffing for 2026 is now in place. In addition to our current staff, we are delighted to welcome Travis Lee, who has been appointed to the permanent English Teacher position at the College.

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents who have been so supportive of the College, and in particular, the class staff this year. It is fantastic that we can work together to maximise student achievement.

I would also like to thank all staff, especially the class staff, for the enormous effort they have put in this year. Their dedication to improving outcomes for our students is to be commended. I hope they all enjoy their well-earned summer break when it arrives.

Season’s Greetings

On behalf of the class staff, I would like to wish students, parents, and fellow staff at the College a happy and safe festive season. We look forward to working with you all again next year.
