A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

A Strong and Purposeful Start to 2026

What a positive start to the year it has been. Our Year 7 students have settled beautifully into the college, and our Year 12 students are working diligently towards their final year goals. For all other students, learning is well underway, with a strong sense of focus across the college.

Our Year 7 and Year 9 students have recently completed their NAPLAN assessments, while students across all year levels have undertaken SACs and CATs to demonstrate their learning growth since the beginning of the year.

Beyond the classroom, students have embraced a wide range of opportunities. We have participated in interschool sport, held our swimming and cross-country carnivals, celebrated Cultural Day, completed school photos, and hosted two successful community pantry days. These experiences play an important role in building connection, school pride, and a sense of belonging within our community.

Within our classrooms, our focus has been on consistent classroom practice to improve student learning. Across the college, we have continued to embed our values of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility, ensuring these are evident not only in learning environments but also in the schoolyard, supporting both academic growth and student wellbeing.

As we reach the end of Term 1, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their continued commitment and support. I wish everyone a safe and restful break and look forward to building on this strong start in Term 2.

Kind regards

Pam Robinson
