This week, our class visited the Aboriginal Garden to explore and appreciate its wonderful array of plants. To capture what we saw, we spent time carefully sketching the leaves, flowers and textures of the plants. 

Padua Academic Challenge

Last week a number of Grade 6 students took part in the Padua Academic Challenge at Padua, Mornington. 

Our parents dropped us off.  We got on the bus with a few other schools and we were driven to Mornington Padua. 

We walked to our stations and waited for the other schools to arrive. When they all got there the organiser ran through the days program.

We had an English, Maths, Science, Humanities,  Art, Code Breaking, Drama, Poetry and Engineering challenge.

We did well at all of the sections and tried our hardest.

At the conclusion of the day we discovered that our school won the Science Challenge. We were so proud of ourselves. We had an amazing day. Hudson

Padua College - The Real Story of Alice in Wonderland

The Year 4 students attended the The Real Story of Alice in Wonderland, presented by the Year 10 drama students at Padua Mornington. It was a fun, lively, and imaginative take on the classic tale, filled with humour, surprises and plenty of theatrical magic.

The students particularly loved how the scenes swapped between a traditional and a rebellious Alice, with the narrators having opposing views over which tale of Alice was best.
