Student Report

Hello Tarneit Senior College,
We hope that all are well in our community and are comfortably settled in as we move further into the term. As your Student Body Presidents we are ecstatic to now represent the school alongside our variety of leaders counting 24 students across all year levels who are dedicated, innovative and focused to work towards the betterment of our school.
Year 12 Common Room, The Year 12 Common Room is a new addition to our college and aims to be a space where senior students can talk to communicate to one another, study, store food/drinks in the kitchen/refrigerator, be a quiet space for individuals or even to utilise the TV for console use, all in a comfortable seated area during the two breaks.
Interact, The Interact program is an extracurricular organisation that connects our school & students with the Wider community. They specialise in helping students bring forth their ideas for the betterment of the school, local community and even internationally. All students willing to assist are heavily encouraged to and more than welcome to join the program. Weekly meetings are held every Monday during the second break. We hope to see you there!
Every Monday after school, Homework Club is held in C Building, providing students with access to senior Tutors and peers who can help with difficult questions/homework, be there to support students on their most difficult subject or offer a quiet environment for focused study. We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity, as working alongside classmates and specialised tutors can make revision both more productive and less overwhelming.
On the 7th & 8th of May, a handful of hardworking students set up a Mother's Day stall as a way for students to purchase special gifts to show their gratitude and support for the people they appreciated most.
Warm Regards,
- Misha & Zak
