St Michael's PFA News

Welcome back to Term 3 - the PFA events for the term are starting to take shape and we need your support to make all the magic happen! Any questions with any of these items, please speak with Annie Herbison or Alice Dwyer or Therese Molnar.
Grandparent's Day Meal Train
We are looking forward to celebrating our wonderful grandparents and special guests at our upcoming Grandparents' Day Afternoon Tea on August 7th.
To help make this occasion extra special, we would greatly appreciate contributions of homemade or store-bought treats to share with our visitors. Cakes, slices, biscuits, muffins, and other afternoon tea favourites are all welcome - please click on this link https://mealtrain.com/6yq5dz to select which item you will contribute, so we can ensure there is something for everyone!
This event is a lovely opportunity to show our gratitude for the important role grandparents and special family members play in the lives of our students. Your generosity will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.
If you are able to contribute, please send your items to the school on the morning of August 7th.
Thank you for your support and for helping us make this a memorable celebration for our school community. We look forward to sharing a delightful afternoon with our grandparents and special guests.
Scholastic Book Fair Helpers
Our much-loved annual School Book Fair is just around the corner, running after school each afternoon from Friday 21st August - Wednesday 26th August inclusive, and we are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a wonderful experience for our students and families.
Volunteers will assist with welcoming visitors, helping students browse and purchase books, tidying displays, and creating a fun and inviting atmosphere throughout the event.
The Book Fair is always a highlight on our school calendar, inspiring a love of reading and helping to raise valuable funds for new library resources and classroom books. It simply wouldn't be possible without the support of our amazing school community.
If you are available to help, please register your interest via volunteersignup.org/FCAAH No prior experience is needed—just a friendly smile and a willingness to lend a hand! Toddlers and small babies are welcome while you help - most nights we only need about 30 - 40 minutes assistance at pick up.
Father's Day Stall Helpers
We're looking forward to celebrating all the wonderful Dads and Grandfathers on their special day and will be once again running our Father's and Special Men's Day Stall.
It's a really wonderful experience helping the kids to pick just the right gift for their special person and seeing their love and determination to choose well. We need your help! To volunteer, please click on this link to the sign up sheet: volunteersignup.org/7J348
Thanks in advance!
