This award goes to August for demonstrating a fantastic understanding of the counting on strategy. This week, he was able to confidently explain his thinking and share the process he used to solve a variety of addition problems. August, your hardworking attitude is something you should be so proud of. We are so lucky to have you as a member of Foundation W!
The award goes to Taylen for showing the HEART value of Excellence in Literacy. This week he was able to create a fantastic plan for a narrative based on the structure of another author’s story. We are so proud of you, Taylen, and how you always try your best!
Corey-Taylor has had an excellent start to Term 3. He consistently completes the tasks he is asked to do with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning. It is wonderful to see the pride he takes in his work, often celebrating his achievements with genuine excitement.
Violet is receiving this award for being the first student in the Senior School to complete addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on XtraMath. She should be very proud of the hard work, persistence and dedication she has shown throughout this achievement. Her commitment to building her maths fluency is fantastic!
This award is presented to Medina for being a polite and considerate class member who always uses her manners. Medina displays excellence and effort consistently across all her school tasks and I am especially happy with the contributions she is beginning to make to class discussions.

This award goes to Ali for the curiosity and enthusiasm he demonstrated during our new Electricity unit. Ali was eager to experiment with his electricity kit and applied the knowledge he had learnt to construct a simple circuit with a globe. He was then able to add a switch to his circuit. Well done, Ali!
Congratulations Lily for your excellent dancing as we rehearse for our school production. Your timing is great and you always know which dance steps are coming up next. Well done, Lily.

This award goes to Leo for his superb stick person sculpture. Leo selected the perfect sticks for his art and carefully tied and wrapped the wool around the sticks for clothing and hair.
