Congratulations to the following students:

Way down in Hadestown

Year 10 students Juliet and Molly have enjoyed a successful run in ExitLeft’s production of Hadestown (Teen Edition). After completing 10 fantastic performances, it was fantastic to see their talents shine on and off the stage. 

Congratulations to both students on a wonderful production after months of hard work and dedication in rehearsals.

Congratulations to Year 10 Students Luca Latter, William Timsar, Angus Dunham, Dexter Wright, on their selection to the 2026 Marsh AFL National Development Championships - U16 Boys team. The group travelled to Melbourne for their first game recently, defeating Northern Territory 109-41. We can't wait to continue to celebrate their progress as the season continues. 

Congratulations to all our MacKillop students who performed at the recent Hobart Music Eisteddfods. 

Rahni Jensen (Year 8) - Vocal solos, musical theatre and contemporary, 13 and 14 years. 

Freya Whelan (Year 11) - Vocal solos, musical theatre and contemporary, 15 and 16 years. 

Fynn Rankin (Year 11) - Open Instrumental Performance Solo

Christian O'Brien (Year 11) - Open Piano Performance Solo

Special congratulations to the following students who achieved Highly Commended or above in their sections. 

Abel Harris (Year 11) - Highly Commended. Vocal solo, musical theatre, 15 and 16 years. 

George Fraser (Year 9) - 2nd Place. Instrumental Solo 15 and 16 years. 

Mila Irawan (Year 9) - 1st Place. Vocal solo, contemporary, 13 and 14 years.
