Music Update

Interesting music fact:  Schools with music programs have an estimated 90.2% graduation rate and 93.9% attendance rate compared to schools without music education, which average 72.9% graduation and 84.9% attendance. Schools that have music programs have an attendance rate of 93.3% compared to 84.9% in schools without music programs. (childrensmusicworkshop.com)

EMC MUSIC FESTIVAL!

The annual EMC Music Festival is being held on Thursday 21st November. Gates open at 5:30pm and music begins at 6pm. All instrumental music students will be performing with their ensembles on the indoor stage and soloists and small groups will be performing on the outdoor stage. A coffee cart will be onsite for the event and we will also be holding a bake sale to raise money for the music program.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST OPEN TILL TUESDAY 6TH NOV

The entry form for expressions of interest in performing on the outdoor festival at the Music Festival will remain open until 9pm on Tuesday 5th November.
