Residential

It is lovely to see the Year 11s settling down from their initial excitement and nervousness. All students are understanding the guidelines and hopefully making the most of the opportunities this College affords them. Life in the dorms is settling as new friendships are made and confidence is building. It is hard to believe that we are almost halfway through Term 1.

Medical Services in Cunderdin

I have received the following information this week that, unfortunately, medical services at the Cunderdin Drs surgery will no longer be bulk billed for our students. Please see the correspondence below.

"Dr Egbu is the new GP at Livingston Medical in Cunderdin. We are writing to clarify the billing arrangements for students attending the Ag College, to help ensure there are no unexpected costs.

Billing Information

  • Children under 16 years of age with a valid Medicare card will be bulk billed.

  • Patients aged 16 years and over will be privately billed. The fees below are a guide to consultation costs and the corresponding Medicare rebates:

    • Level A Consultation (less than 6 minutes):Fee: $35 | Medicare Rebate: $20.10

    • Level B Consultation (6–20 minutes):Fee: $100 | Medicare Rebate: $43.90

    • Level C Consultation (20–40 minutes):Fee: $165 | Medicare Rebate: $84.90"

Driving

To all students and parents please be aware that our College campus has a strict 20km speed limit. There have been some close calls as students are still getting use to running back to the dorms. Particularly on Friday and Sunday afternoon pick up and drop offs.

Parents please pick up your student outside the Rec entre. No parents should be parking near the dorms until the last day of term.

No parents or family members are to enter the dorms without a Residential Supervisor present.

Enjoy the long weekend, be safe and we look forward to everyone coming back ready to do their best for the remainder of this short term.
