From Associate Principal

Our Year 11 and 12 students have made a positive start to Term 1. Students have engaged themselves well across the three areas of the College. Some students have had some challenges in demonstrating appropriate classroom behaviours. With a full program and additional activities, it is vital all students are given the opportunity to learn. Continued disruptive behaviours will result in demerit points and could result in the Loss of Good Standing. I encourage all students to actively engage in all school activities to get the most out of your time at the College and allow your peers to do the same.
Prohibited Items
Students are not to return from weekend leave with any prohibited items. This includes smoking products (including cigarettes and vapes) alcohol (including empty containers/boxes). Please ensure you clean out vehicles and bags before returning to the College. Student should ensure they lock their vehicles, secure items such as toolboxes and secure items such as swags inside locked vehicles.
See below for an extract from the College Guidelines which relates to alcohol found on site.
Student Declaration and Permission
In the coming weeks Year 12 students will be asked to complete a Student Declaration and Permission from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA). Please see attached document for details.
WACE Tracker
Last week Year 12 students participated in a WACE Tracking session during Careers lessons. Students looked at each requirement for achieve their WACE at the end of Year 12 and how they currently tracking. Students will be repeating this process several times throughout the year to check their progress. Students can also check this information at any time by seeing myself, Ms Wells or Mrs Squiers. It was pleasing to see out Year 12 cohort were invested in their progress.
