Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS)

We are pleased to announce that our school is participating in the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative, which is being introduced across Victorian government schools to further strengthen student wellbeing and support positive mental health.

Beginning this Friday, I will commence training alongside Nicole Lichoudaris, Joshua Woollen, Anna-Marie and Aaron Jones.

The MHiPS initiative aims to build staff capacity to better support student mental health, strengthen referral pathways within the school and to external services, and improve early identification and support for students who may need additional help.

Through this work, we will continue to build a supportive environment where all students feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
