The Arts Faculty invites all in our Marist Community to an evening of Visual Art, Drama and Film and Television and New Media to celebrate the achievements of our Senior Arts Students.

6:00pm - Art Exhibition opens with light refreshments in the Draney Theatre foyer

7:00pm - Awards Presentation, Drama Presentation and Film Screenings in the Draney Theatre

Artwork of the Month

We congratulate Campbell Chapman in Year 8 who is our September Artwork of the Month winner for his cultural ceramic mask.

Masa Pearson in Year 10 has been awarded the “Artwork of the Month” award for October for his street art painting produced for the unit, “Youth Culture.”

Year 9 Artist Talk and Photography Workshop

In Week 1 this term, the Year 9 Visual Art class had the opportunity to work with contemporary art photography, Dr Joachim Froese, who is internationally known for his still life photography. Joachim presented an artist talk about his art practice and alternate photographic techniques, after which he guided students through a photo shoot of a range of still life compositions.

Art Club and Games Workshop – Term 4
