Prayer for the Feast of Christ the King

O Christ Jesus, King of the universe and Lord of all creation, we come before You in reverence and love.

Reign in our hearts with Your truth, in our minds with Your wisdom, and in our lives with Your peace.

Grant that Your kingdom of justice, mercy, and compassion may take root within us and be reflected in all we do.

Strengthen us to follow Your ways, to serve You in one another, and to witness boldly to Your reign of love that has no end.

Christ our King, guide Your Church, protect our families, and fill the world with Your light. May Your kingdom come and may Your will be done—now and forever.

Our Acknowledgment of Country

We acknowledge that we learn, grow, create and celebrate on Wurundjeri Country. 

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the glorious land, sky, waterways, and wonderful wildlife with the traditional owners.

Exploring Country brings us joy, happiness and peace. 

We will continue our connection with Country through respectful play, by caring for our community and the environment and engaging in learning that challenges injustice and leads change.
