It’s hard to believe we’re already over halfway through Term 4! Time is flying by, and it’s been another wonderful fortnight in our school library — full of curious minds, exciting stories, and plenty of reading fun. There’s always something new to discover on our shelves, so make sure to pop in and see what captures your imagination next!
Exciting news — Book Club Issue 7 orders have arrived and were given to students this week. Thank you to all families who placed an order, we hope you enjoy your new books!
Book Club Issue 8 is now live, and we are accepting orders! Orders need to be completed and returned by Friday, 28th November.
Orders can be:
Returned to the school office, or
Placed online directly through the Scholastic website at:🔗 https://scholastic.com.au/book-club/book-club-parents/ (see below information)
How Parents Order from Book Club Online (LOOP)

New parents can follow the setup wizard to create their child’s profile.
Click the ORDER tab and select your child’s school and the Book Club Issue.
Select your child’s name.
Enter the product item number from the Book Club catalogue.
Apply any promotional codes your child may have earned from previous issues.
Make payment via credit card (please note a 1% surcharge applies to all card payments).
Feel great knowing that your order helps earn Scholastic Rewards for our school!
This will be our final issue for the year, and a perfect opportunity to find some wonderful gifts for Christmas. Orders are due to arrive mid-December and will definitely be here before the end of term.
If you’d like your order to be kept as a Christmas surprise, please let us know and we’ll hold it at school for you. As always, Book Club is a voluntary program, and there’s no obligation to purchase.
Overdue notices were sent home last week for students who currently have library books outstanding. Please ensure these books are returned as soon as possible, as we are aiming to finalise all overdues by Friday of Week 9.
If you are unable to locate a book, please contact me via email at📧 ewhitney@arm.catholic.edu.au
Your help in keeping our library collection complete is greatly appreciated!
Library borrowing continues each week:
Stage 3 (Years 5 & 6): Thursdays
All other stages: Fridays
Please remember to bring a library bag on your borrowing day to protect your books on their journey between school and home. A gentle reminder — No bag = No borrow, and students with overdue books will be unable to borrow until these have been returned.
As we move into the final weeks of term, keep exploring, keep reading, and keep discovering new adventures through books. Every story you read opens the door to a new world waiting just for you!
