Piano Competition

The annual Piano Competition was held in the Theatre of All Nations on Wednesday, 8 October. This year’s event featured 18 talented students, each performing a piece of their choice in front of a live audience and our distinguished adjudicator Mr Jhonfil Roxas.

Participants were divided into three sections: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior based on their level of experience. From delicate preludes to dramatic concert pieces, the variety and depth of the performances were a testament to the dedication and artistry of our young musicians.

Mr Roxas expressed how impressed he was with the calibre of performances across all levels, noting the confidence, expression, and technical skill displayed by each student. He commended the students not only for their musical choices but also for their poise under pressure.

After much deliberation, the following students were recognised for their outstanding performances:

Junior Section

• Winner: Biar Angok

• Highly Commended: Josh Maddio

Intermediate Section

• Winner: Winnie Huang

• Highly Commended: Sienna Sta Ana

Senior Section

• Winner: Sharon Ye

• Highly Commended: Sheyas Moudgil and Anna-Maria Constantin
