A photographer in our midst

Our talented Business Manager, Kaye Linsdell, is exhibiting at the Ballarat International Foto Biennale. If you’re looking for a fun trip during the holidays, head up to Ballarat to check it out – her exhibition, Stillness and Soul, is on display at the Tin Roof Café – just a 10 minute walk from the Ballarat railway station.

Kaye and her friends, Anne and Sally, met at the Melbourne Camera Club in South Melbourne, where they discovered a shared love of capturing the beauty of nature and landscapes. Through their friendship, encouragement, and support, they continue to explore creativity, techniques, and concepts within their preferred subject matter.

"My greatest love is being away from the urban environment with my camera where I can photograph landscapes and natural beauty," Kaye said.

Stillness and Soul Exhibition

In Stillness and Soul, the boundaries between memory and place, nature and self, gently blur. The result is a contemplative collection that invites viewers to slow down, breathe in, and perhaps find a piece of themselves reflected in the silence.

You’ll often see Kaye around Port Melbourne, capturing the play of light on the water, or immersed in the beauty of Victoria’s high country.

We’re spoiled for gorgeous locations around Port Melbourne with beaches, wild Westgate Park and many manicured parks, but lots of fun can also be had capturing action shots at the skate park and all the sporting grounds and ovals as well as gorgeous buildings both modern and historic.
