Sustainability Update

A Green Start to the School Year!

We’ve kicked off the new school year with fantastic energy from our Green Team, who wasted no time getting stuck into our school garden! From day one, they showed excellent leadership skills and real commitment to the garden, working hard to get it back into tip-top condition for our first crop of vegetables and plants.

The team rolled up their sleeves to weed, tidy, and sort the veggie beds, carefully composting the soil and setting strong foundations for a successful growing season ahead. Their teamwork and enthusiasm have already made a big difference, and we’re excited to see what grows next!

Congratulations to our newly appointed Environment Leaders! Mrs Doran is delighted to be working with the Environment Leaders this year. We’ll begin by focusing on setting sustainability goals, developing the school garden, and leading sustainability initiatives throughout St Joseph’s. 🌱
