Message from the Principal

St Peter’s School - an empowered faith community to enrich the world.

Welcome to Term 1 Week 2

Welcome to St Peter's School 2026! What a fantastic start to the year it has been.

At our welcome assembly on Friday we introduced the Foundation students to the school and congratulated them on their start to the school year. We also introduced Jordan (Year 1), Jeswin (Year 2), Eneeva, Fay and Mark all in Year 3. We welcome all our new families to the St Peter's community.

We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, joy and curiosity. There are many events and experiences planned to provide a wide variety of opportunities for students - from camps, excursions, visitors to the school and a concert in Term 3!

An exciting term ahead

I encourage you to look at the 'Important Dates' page.  You will see we have a busy term ahead, with many opportunities for families to connect.

We begin this with our Parents and Friends (P&F) Welcome BBQ on Friday. Starting at 3:15pm, this is an opportunity for families to meet while enjoying the hospitality of our P&F. Sausage sizzle (with a vegetarian option) will be available from 3:30pm, with drinks available to purchase at $2.

Other opportunities include:

  • Parish mass for 5 /6 students on Sunday 15 March at 9am.
  • Parent Helpers Induction Friday 27 February
  • P&F meeting Thursday 5 March (read our P&F page for more information)

Assemblies

We hold whole school assemblies fortnightly on a Friday afternoon at 2:45pm. All parents and carers are welcome to attend. Our  next assembly is on Friday 13 February where we will be presenting our student leadership for 2026 - Year 6 leaders and the Student Representative Council (SRC).

2026 Staff

We  welcome new staff members this year- Jacqui Wilson (12W) and Domenic Van Boxtel (5 6V).

We are aiming to appoint a PE teacher in the next 2 or 3 weeks and look forward to introducing them to the community.

Joy is contagious. It is a Fruit of the Holy Spirit which we receive as a gift, a gift  to be shared. It is impossible to keep joy to yourself. It spills over and touches others.

Loving and gracious God, help me to be generous in sharing your gifts with others. May the joy I feel in your presence spill over and touch the lives of others this day. Amen
