Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff,

Thank you to all mums and special persons who attending our event last Friday 8th May. All guests joined us in the Multipurpose Room for a special morning tea and raffle prize draw before visiting classrooms to participate in a fun activity alongside their child/ren. There was a lovely buzz around the school, so we look forward to making this an annual tradition!

This term, our Junior School Council representatives have been diligently working alongside the Leadership team to provide feedback to the different companies we have engaged to design and construct our new playgrounds. Our current junior playground area, located alongside the staff carpark, is beginning to look a little outdated, and we are very excited to be replacing it in readiness for students to enjoy in Term 3.

It has been fantastic to see our student leaders so actively involved in the process, thoughtfully considering designs and sharing ideas on behalf of their peers. I have also enjoyed chatting with students during yard duty about what they would most like to see included in the new playground. Some of the most popular requests have included a rock-climbing wall, more slides, tunnels, higher platforms and, of course, lots of monkey bars!

We are excited to see what the design teams create and look forward to sharing further updates with our community soon. Below you can see some of the playground concepts we have received so far.
