Level 5/6

During Education Week last week, our Grade 5/6 students (and the rest of the school!) were fortunate to participate in an exciting learning enhancement opportunity with Ryan Evans, who delivered his LEGO®-inspired STEM program, Brickulum, at Mitcham Primary School.

Through a series of hands-on challenges using LEGO® bricks, students explored STEM concepts to create cars that were rolled down a ramp to see how far they can go, while developing their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills to create an item out of LEGO® bricks inspired by a real life object. Ryan, who competed on LEGO Masters Australia in 2021 and 2023, shared his expertise and enthusiasm with students throughout the sessions. The program was highly engaging and provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply their learning in creative and practical ways. All sessions were a hit!
