Education Week

What a brilliant Education Week at Mitcham Primary School! Throughout the week, our school community came together to celebrate learning, creativity and connection in so many wonderful ways. It was fantastic to see students, families and staff all embracing the excitement of learning and celebrating the many opportunities available at MPS.

A highlight of the week was our Book Fair, which created plenty of excitement amongst students and families. Thank you to everyone who supported the fair and helped raise valuable funds for our library resources. Your support helps us continue to foster a love of reading and provide engaging resources for all students to enjoy.

Our LEGO Incursion was also an absolute hit! Students loved the hands-on learning experiences and creative challenges throughout the sessions. A huge thank you to Ryan from Lego Masters for sharing his expertise and enthusiasm, as well as introducing students to the fantastic Brickulum resource. It was wonderful to see students collaborating, problem-solving and thinking creatively in such an engaging way.

We also loved welcoming families into our classrooms during the Open Afternoons. Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate your child’s learning and the incredible work being completed across the school. Congratulations as well to Riley Greenhalgh for winning the scavenger hunt and joining in the fun of the week’s activities.

Education Week truly showcased the vibrant learning culture at Mitcham Primary School. It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate learning, achievement and the many special moments that make MPS such a fantastic place to learn and grow.
