Stage 3 Building Project – Multi-Function Centre & Learning Building Update
Exciting progress continues across the Stage 3 Building Project, with major milestones being reached and the vision for the new facilities really starting to take shape.
In the Multi-Function Centre, concrete works are now 99% complete, with only the foyer hobs remaining. Roof mesh installation to the stadium is well underway, marking a significant step forward in bringing the space to life. Stormwater works are also progressing along the north façade.
At the Learning Building, steel structure works are continuing steadily, shaping the framework of what will be a dynamic new learning environment.
Looking ahead over the next fortnight there will be further exciting progress with roof mesh and insulation to the stadium, bricklaying commencing, and continued stormwater installation along the south façade. Works will also advance on connecting the Learning Building steel structure to the existing building, along with ongoing wall framing.
Adding to the excitement across the campus, 20 large trees have now been planted around the AFL Oval, enhancing the landscape and creating a greener, more vibrant outdoor environment for students and the community to enjoy.
