COOL KIDS FIRST AID JULY 22-26

Back by popular demand & tomorrow is the last day to secure at Early Bird Prices! 

 

The Banyule Primary School CEC is proud to host Cool Kids First Aid again for 2026. 

 

This fun & interactive first aid program is led by a qualified trainer (Tash) & designed for primary school children to build confidence & essential life-saving skills. 

 

In this 1.75 hour session the children will have the opportunity to learn and practice the following skills:

  •  How to recognise an emergency situation
  •  How to call ‘000’
  •  An introduction to DRSABCD (CPR) principals of first aid
  •  Basic bleeding control

 

These interactive and fun sessions are designed to equip children with the basics of what to do in an emergency and are designed on the current ARC (Australian Resuscitation Council and ANZCOR (Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation) guidelines.

 

Important information:

 

Both afternoon and weekend sessions are available in July but hurry as there are limited spots available and sold out in 2024! 

 

Session dates and times: 

 

  • Wednesday 22nd July 5pm
  • Thursday 23rd July 5pm 
  • Sunday 26th July 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm

 

Ticket price:

  • $20 per child (must be accompanied by a responsible adult, can have 1 adult to 2 children).

 

Early Bird Discount:

  • Use code EARLYBIRD to get $5 off (must register before the last day of term 2, 26th June).

Another terrific glow disco for our BPS Students this year.  Maximum grooving, joyous fun and a trove of disco memories created!  A huge thank you to the wonderful team of CEC volunteers, Shencina, Amanda Adderley, Nicola, Sophie Seeger, Suse Baker and all of the awesome parents Candy Edwards, Katie O'Leary, Chloe Hild, Miranda Mikrou, Clare Ong, Ali Francis, Kate Heslop, Nicola Hainsworth, Linda Otten, Thi Thanh (Helena), June Tran, Courtney Wood, Alysia Licciardi, Elizabeth Wedemey, Rachel Taylor, Katherine Schornikov, Mojdeh Shirazi, Noushin Arefadb, Carolyn Ashcroft, Laura Jones, Shalini Dalai, Lyndsey Thwaites, Sarah, Steel, Margaret Charles,Bridget Amor, Anita Wu, Erin Van der P, Melinda Howsam, Amanda Low, Kellie Swindon, Lorena Bicket, Nasrin Baghshirin, Anthony Seeger for all the planning and on the day set up, supervision & pull down that goes into creating such a fun event for the kids!
