From the Principal Team

As we reach the end of Term 2, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support and commitment throughout what has been a busy and productive semester.

This term has been filled with rich learning experiences, and many special events and opportunities for students to grow both academically and personally. From excursions to sporting events, performances and leadership opportunities, our students have continued to demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience and a willingness to challenge themselves. Research consistently shows that students learn best when learning is connected to meaningful experiences, relationships and wellbeing, and it has been wonderful to see this in action across our school this term.

Thank you to our families for the important role you play in supporting your children's learning and wellbeing. Strong home–school relationships have a significant positive impact on student outcomes and we greatly value your ongoing involvement. As evidenced by the many volunteers who have supported programs, events and learning opportunities throughout the term, including Weeding Week! Our war on weeds has begun well as our resident cockatoo inspects our giant pile. 

We would also like to acknowledge the dedication of our staff, who work tirelessly to provide engaging learning experiences and support the wellbeing of every student. We are grateful for the professionalism and passion they bring to our community.

As we head into the winter break, we encourage everyone to take the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming students back for Term 3 on Monday the 13th of July, ready for another exciting term of learning, growth and connection.
